my hubby's sis always notices every thing about me, on her wedding day she told me that my eye shadow was too bright, I said that I like it so thats enough. Then she was complimenting my sisters eyelashes and then immediately said how my eyelashes were straight and small. I was like " omg you seem to notice every small detail about me you must really like me, but you are the bride and so must focus on how you look instead of focusing on me all the time", she immediately went red. I'm not saying that my make up is perfect but why should it bother her, even my hubby never noticed my pink eyeshadow and how small my eyelashes are. I model for tv so I have learnt to apply make up for myself if I need to. I dunno I always feel like she is noticing every flaw about me. However she constantly compliments others. She knew I went to get my eyebrows done, and she was like " let me see, oh" and never said anything. I feel really small around her

Take it as jealousy, she wants to be you so she tries to beliitle you to make her feel a little better about herself

I agree with the other poster, I think she IS jealous of you. You stumbled on just the right thing to say on her wedding day (ha ha... wish I was so quick witted!).
It seems maybe you don't know this (about her jealousy), because she is still making you feel small. So now, when you're with her, just realize where she's coming from, so her negative attention, and lack of positive attention, don't tear you down. :-)

i think she is insecure with herself and to make herself better, she belittles you and tries to break down your confidence in yourself not only to make herself feel better but so when she's feeling low, she finds someone to bring them down to her level. Just ignore her whenever she comes at you like that because if you take on everything she says, she'll see that she's pushing your buttons and that she's getting to you and all she needs is that reaction and she knows she's got you. And like everyone else says, i also think she is jealous. Probably because you have the life that she wants ^_^

Im jealous of you lol! ignore her she probably thinks you are beautiful and grudges it because she is not as attractive as you. Some people are just like that, she probably thinks if she points out your faults other people will notice them. Have you watched mean girls? really true to life me thinks

Sometimes in-laws just don't like each other for no good reason at all.
But if everyone involved has basic good-will, then these things often, or at least sometimes, fix themselves.
