It's nice to see someone with integrity.. Either that or he's really vindictive.. What do you all think?

That doesn't come as a huge shock to me. While there may be a trace of integrity (and maybe some vindictiveness) I'd be willing to bet he simply recognizes that some things can't be relived.

As cool as it was for The Police to have done that, I'm sure it wasn't really quite the same as seeing them back in 78'.

You would like to think it's integrity. However, that is just crazy jack to walk away from. I cast my vote for vindictiveness and stupidity. It doesn't appear that the relationship between Morrissey and Marr is healthy. Granted they were also on the outs with the drummer Joyce, who tried to sue them. Still, the only condition for the jackpot was that the two main dudes perform for 50 dates. This is one reunion that, if it were to happen, I don't think would be horrible like when The Sex Pistols did it. The Smiths could absolutely pull it off right now. That is the main reason why I don't think it's about integrity. The Moz is just being a baby. HE is sooo emo!

One last note; Moz made a comment that he would sooner eat his own testicles than reform The Smiths. The fact that he is a vegetarian tells you all you need to know about his motives.

yes there is a grudge

but hey I dont hate any of them for it

I think the main reason they would not reunite is coz morrisey is way beyond that

johnny was not good for him

the queen is dead(song) is their best song with all members participating equally

its a kiss off song which vaguely hints at their future

no deal

oj yeah
and the song

"paint a vulgar picture"

with the oh so important and tell tale lyric

"reissue, repackage, repackage, re-eva;ute the songs....double pack with a photograph, an extra track and a tacky badge...................but to you I was faceless I was fawning I was boring, a child from those ugly new houses
...........but you could have said NO! if you wanted to..........
you could have walked away well, couldnt you

BPI,MTV,bbc, please them, please them
sadly this was your life
But u cld hve sd no f u wntd 2

so in my bedroom in those ugly new houses
I dance my legs down to the knees

I'm sure he already has lot's of money so I don't care if he turned the money down or not. (sigh).

It probably means nothing to him. Anyone without money would jump at the chance!

i've actually never heard of morrisey OR the smiths but for him to turn down $75 million is either really dumb or some1 w/ tons of integrity.
