The answer is really quite simple most of us are on here for a laugh , to relax, some are here to try and help out if we can , but the vast majority just to chill out!
I think the biggest laugh I ever got from reading questions on this forum was from a guy who asked :- " If I slapped my friend around his face with a hedgehog would it hurt"??
That was good enough to have me rolling, then I read some of the replies, many of them from hedgehog lovers, that made it all even funnier, my wife had to drag me away, she thought I was having a fit!!! She couldn't see anything at all amusing about it.
I enjoy most questions on here and while questions like What is your favourite colour" and "Is there really a God" are maybe 'inane' to you they may be important to some!
So the answer to your question is pretty obvious to me , and if I could be allowed a brief comment? Chill out!!

It probably shows the age group of the majority of YA people.
I asked a serious question and the only answer I got was...
"What a good question" and that person will have got 2 points when they answered and another 10 because I didn't pick a best answer !
Keep trying though - not everyone on here answers just for points.

Because they can all answer the asinine questions. I have the devil of a job getting answers to my real questions.

Because there are more answerers of average intelligence here that above avergae & the intelligent questions are too difficult for most to answer.

Maybe it says more about the way the site is run... perhaps we need a site for seniors... people over thirty... who have really grown up... to continue to ask those more intelligent of questions... and then... let the kids who like to mess about all day have this one:-)

think maybe the majority on here are in their teens and no im not saying theyre stupid but obviously have lesser knowledge than the average mid age person? and with that in mind are q clicking 'submit' to gain levels higher than their peers

Because the majority of people come here...especially P&S...to escape! They don't want to have to put any real thought into their answers!
