I used to sleep in the afternoon and feel guilty until I read an article by a doctor that said, a Power Hour, in the afternoon is very good for you. So have your sleep enjoy it and you will feel much better afterwards. No guilt at all. Sleep well!!!

Sure, I take a nap in the afternoon every time I am off work. I feel absolutely no remorse b/c it makes me more productive for the rest of the day. Humans evolved knowing to sleep during the hottest part of the day, when strenuous activity would be more exhausting.

Yes! I always feel really guilty for having a nap in the afternoon, especially as i dont tend to sleep much at night so am tired all day and can nap for like 3hrs! Its fine tho, dont worry, a little nap never hurt anyone!

Feeling quilty? Is that what you call going to bed? I slept from 12.30 to 5 today but that's only because I have to get up early (5.00am) on a Sunday.

i always sleep in the afternoon, have done since i had my first child, i used to worry because i would get to anytime between 12 and 2 and feel so exhausted i thought something was wrong, i researched it and apparrently your body naturally needs to shut down for a sleep mid day, hence the saying afternoon nap, hope this helps

Other than the USA an afternoon snooze is a great idea. In fact, there are studies showing a nap here or there in the day time INCREASES productivity!
