its not neccisarily egg yolk. but its hard boild egg yolk. it seems kind of a pain in the but to do. you have to press the yolk through a fine strainer, but then you dont want to feed them to much because it'll make the water VERY dirty. try buying hirkari (brand) first bites. its for baby fish. i like to put it in a lil eyedropper and then fill it with water, then squirt it in the direction of the fish. then about a few weeks later you can feed them finely crushed flakes or baby brine shrimp. then a few weeks later adult brine shrimp or little pellets. this is what i have done. but not the yolk

Yes you can, but it's a pain in the ***
The best way to go is cooking an egg, take of the whites (eat or through away) put it in a clean towel, and twist it around the eggyolk until you squeeze some out of it, the best thing to do is taking a knife and scrabbbing only bits of it into your breeder, just enough for them to eat, you can use that for up to 3 days if kept in the fridge, 3-4 times a day, but it's messy

or

you feed them with "First Bites" 3-4 times a day

or

you feed them flake food which must be grinded to powder for them to be able to eat it

Hope that helps
Good luck

you can, but it must be hard boiled, it is common to do this with baby bettas, but the KEY is not to feed them alot. Egg yoke with fowel and i mean fowel your tank very fast, so i wouldnt even use more than a pinch.

i personally dont feed babies yolk as it is just nasty IMO and doesnt do anything. Where as hikari first bites is just fine for baby fishes, i use it on my baby guppies.

If you do use yolk, water change often and remove uneatten particles about 15 minutes after. It really isnt worth it IMO, it doesnt do anything special for the fish, and it can make the water very bad quickly.
