There are actually some pretty cool books you can buy that give you fun and unique ideas to make with old shirts. You can even take your old clothes and make them into funky rugs for your room. If you have t-shirts and want to make them into halters or funky looking tops it shows you step by step how to cut and sew the shirt. For old jeans, crop them by cutting the bottoms off only to a little below mid calf then roll them up. If they are too tight to button hide it with a loose fitting shirt like a babydoll shirt and a belt so they dont fall down.

add some sparkles, like rhind stones (sp?) or some glitter on some pants.
Add some iron ons, stich up holes that arent supposed to be there lol
Uummm, wear earings, nice shoes, and dont wear anything that looks like its been through the ringer!!!

Cut them up, make patches of cloth on them, make them your style, put a thick belt around it. paint words, make them you! make them something nobody else would even think of!

try cutting them in sertin places, get lots of iron on decals (go to big lots get them for like 1.00) and buttons ans sequins and things.
