I clearly remember people saying 25-30 years ago that no-one would break the great D K Lillee's wicket taking record when it got to 355, but in only the last few years that has been almost doubled to 708 by Warney, and the Chucker is not far behind. In the modern game there are comparable players. Ponting has a far superior average 60 to 55. Then there's Brian Lara, less tests, more runs, a much bigger highest score. In history you can't look past Bradman with an average just under 100. So, you can't say that his records will never be broken. He is a great cricketer and will go down in history as one of India's best ever, but don't get too carried away with your patriotism that you look past the facts.

When it comes to records Sir Donald Bradman stands alone and as for todays batsmen Brian Lara two outstanding records still eludes Sachin Tendulkar. If he played with more freedom he to would be holding those records. Great to be proud but lets put it into perspective.

Irrespective tp the downward trend in the batting of Sachin Tendulkar of late, I fully agree with you that some of the records set by him will remain unbroken.

u can't say that no one could break his records...
he is no doubt a legend...
as no one knows that in the coming years may be we will see another great player coming through... but i m not saying he will be the sachin tendulkar.. because eevery player has its own identity...
but yet there are millions of talented players needed to explore...

You need to get off whatever you are taking. Sachin is a great cricketer but before him there were many great cricketers and I assure you that after Sachin there will be many more great cricketers who will entertain us.

What is your question friend? Its good if you are proud of being an Indian because every one should love his country and so do you.By the way its "proud" and not "pround" as you wrote.
