You can have a high IQ, but not choose to use it.

When i went clubbing, I had (and still have) a high IQ (last rated at 137), but I chose not to engage in picking up chicks or ingesting various drugs.

I stopped going when i saw how hollow and obvious it all was (which was an opportunity to get laid).

not many, I'm sure. I heard that club music can lower your IQ.

Depends on what club, doesn't it? You mean one with loud music and lots of booze? Or you mean the chess club or Mensa?
