Have you looked online yet?

How about on St. Catherine's Street West?

I used to buy quite a lot of English books in Coles downtown on St. Catherine's, yet again.

Have you ever heard of a bookstore called Paragraph in Montreal?

Many here are recommending online stores which is good. But perhaps you are looking to shop in person. A very good one is Babar books. You can get English children books and including books for young adults. I do not work there lol I have just often heard it advertised on a local radio station. There seem to be two locations. One on the West Island and one in Westmount. However, I have a link for a map of the area.

There is an Indigo/Chapters on Rue St. Catherine Ouest and many more in Montreal that will sell English books. Librairie Archambault also has a few as does Rénaud-Bray - although the last two are primarily francophone bookstores.

Here's a link for Chapters/Indigo/Coles store locations in Montreal:

Find the nearest Coles or Chapters-Indigo bookstore for the most variety of English books. There is a Coles in Carrefour Angrignon, and a Chapters-Indigo on St. Catherine downtown.

There is also a Christian Learning Center (CLC) on St. Catherine in Westmount that offers English religious books that are designed to offer young kids an exposure to many bible stories. Some of the books are written for really young children to read with their parents, and are quite nice as bedtime stories. (Not to assume you are Christian or religious...)
