Well, there's really a HUGE list of free agents this coming off-season.
But as a Twins fan, I will be sadden to see Tori Hunter go, he will be one of the BIGGEST free agents and will be a HUGE pick up to whoever gets him. But who will get him? I'm betting on an AL Central team.
Though I'd hate to see him go, I'd love to see him stick around this division, maybe with the Tigers or Kansas City? I doubt it.
Though there is also A-Rod, and Barry Bonds. Huge names. I think Bonds will retire.
Clemens and so much more.

The 2008 free agent class includes a couple of big names: Alex Rodriguez and Barry Bonds.
A-Rod can opt out of his Yankee contract at the end of the season. We all know the press and fans have been hard on A-Rod, leading to speculation that he might want to test some other waters. But where else does he get his picture on the front page every day. My bet is that Rodriguez stays put.
Bonds, of course, is the all-time HR king now. He still puts fans in the seats. His defense is way down, so he might look at the AL and a DH job. The San Fran fans still love him, so the Giants could make a play to keep him for one more season.
The most likely free agent noise, at least early on, will be at CF. Torii Hunter, Andruw Jones and Aaron Rowand lead a strong group of CFers at the end of their contracts. Hunter has been hot, Jones has not. In fact, Jones' offensive numbers have slid last couple of years. That will cost him some dough in his new deal. Rowand is younger, plays great D and finally is showing decent offense.

Biggest free agent:
Johan Santana - Yankees (hopefully)
Santana is the best pitcher in the AL and the Twins cannot afford him. The Twins are gonna need to rebuild after this year, around Morneau and Cuddyer. Hunter is not going back either, especially after he threw the Twins under the bus the other day. Hopefully Hunter or Aaron Rowand or Andruw Jones will go to the ChiSox.

A-Rod to the White Sox if the Yankees don't renew the option for 2008. Also Torii Hunter, Andruw Jones, Aaron Rowand.

If Rodriguez exercises his option-out clause -- and I think he will -- he automatically takes the top slot in the free agent class.
And I think he ends up back on the Yankees, but the Rangers wind up free of their ARod obligations.
Or Boston gets him and puts him back at SS.

Lots. Andruw Jones will probably draw the most attention, even though he's having an off-year.
