sorry if this seems so elementary for you guys that have sonics, but the nearest 1 is 2 hours away and i dont go there often. i went there yesterday in 1 of the drive in spots. for those of you that have sonics with the drive in spots, you have the menus with the red button that says "press to order", right? it doesnt say whether to press it until someone talks on the speaker to you, or if youre supposed to press it once and let go, or press it and say "ready to order." i pressed it down for like 5 sec straight and no response. i did this like 5 times and no response. i moved to another spot and did the same and no response. so i just left. this has never happened before. anyone familiar with sonics or work at sonics to tell me what to do to order next time? i dont not want to be a customer, their stuff is so good

It's confusing, right? Anyway, you just press it quickly and then wait for someone to come on. it might take a couple of minute for someone to come on, but the food is great! and if it still doesn't work, park and then go inside and order (if that particular one has a place to order besides in your car).

Press and release. You didn't go there too early or too late did you? Each franchise operates at different hours based on region or season. Press and release. It never hurts to get out of your car to make sure that the workers are setup for business. My sister-in-law was a Sonic manager and would setup for 30 to 45 minutes prior to opening. Good luck and have a crantastic day!

Just pull up the the box. After you know what you are going to order you press the red button and give them your order like you would thur a drive thur. Then they bring you the food. Must have been something wrong and nobody was around to take the order. Never had it happen to me before.

individually, whilst i'm there and that i exploit the curler servers (i comprehend that's no longer the technical call, even even with the shown fact that it quite is what i exploit, lol), I usually tip a pair dollars. In an truthfully eating place, i do no longer pass via the common 15% rule, i pass via how my provider substitute into that night. comparable is going for the servers at Sonic. If i do in comparison to their recommendations-set, and so on... they don't get a tip. even even with the shown fact that, in the event that they convey about my nutrients in a great way, and my nutrients hasn't been tossed and became in all places (which i comprehend could be complicated to do on curler skates, blades, and so on...) then i'm going to usually tip them a pair dollars or so. comparable is going for my pizza transport men. If my pizza seems good, and that they act like a good man or woman whilst they arrive to my door, and so on... they are going to get a tip (usually I pay with a $20 or 2 counting on my order, and that they are going to generally get the substitute as their tip with perhaps a pair dollars thrown in if there is not any longer a good variety of substitute left over). i individually do no longer care the place the server works, no rely if or no longer they're a popular server which includes in a take a seat eating place, and so on... I base my information, and no rely if or no longer I tip, off of the provider itself. i individually don't sense the 15% rule applies to somebody that doesn't provide me sturdy provider, and that i would be unable to tip somebody i don't sense supplied sturdy provider. i comprehend it is not uncomplicated being a server, i've got been there, yet, as a server, it is their job to serve the customer, and have a good recommendations-set jointly as doing so, for my section, even with the place or how they serve your nutrients.
