Yes, that is very true. It is intrinsic in us to give advise about
anything but we ourselves do not practice or follow the advise
we give. For example, when we see a young boy or girl
smoking a cigarette, we tell outright that is bad for the health,
but we ourselves smoke.

This is because we are not emotionally engaged with the problem that others have. We are detached and look at it logically, without emotion clouding our vision.

When it is OUR problem, things get complicated because we have emotional investment in the outcome and perhaps want things to turn out in a certain way.

Thats why this site is so successful, we will often take advice from a stranger as we dont feel WOUNDED by their point of veiw. We can get more clarity by being REMOVED from the person offering the advice. Also, the adviser is not clouded by what others may know about you. All they know is what you list.

We tend to focus so much on whats happening on the outside that we neglect whats happening on the inside. When you see something, its easy to figure out how to solve it or give advise.

However, when an issue involves you, because of that outside approach, its easier to blame the world, the friend, the lover, the parents and such.

Yes it is easy to give advice to others by difficult to follow it yourself. It's because the advice we give is subconciously a reflection on what about ourselves we don't like. It's easy to identify what we don't like about ourselves and tell someone to not do it, but harder to actually change ourselves.

it is easy to give advise to others tbecause its very easy. you are just seaying it but its not easy to follow urself cause u have to act it out.
its easy to blow a whistle and sit and watch a game in the gallery but its hard and ull only realise the difficulty once u get out there and u r the one facing those difficulties

Not really.
It all depends upon how wise and serious are you at advising others. And I am sure you are wise enough to have understood my point.

yes ofcourse its very easy to give advice rather than following by ourself.
But ofcourse if the advice is related to our own past experiences , then it works out.
its just a persons EGO that is not acceptable to someones advice that easily.
they feel: "someone's ADVICE may ADD VICE to your life"..lol

I think there is a truth in this statement...it is because we, as psycho beings are the only animal beings that can talk more on the things than do them.
