Hi,
Yes the joy within has withered a little when I discovered someone's lies; someone who has been welcomed into our family but who has not been honest or truthful lately. It is she who I feel needs somebody to love and understand her. What has made her this way? What is she afraid of for having lied so openly, so blatantly and for there to be so much unwarranted rage inside her? I sense her jealousy, her possessiveness, her fear of sharing another person's love with others. I sense the confusion in her messed-up brain but as I reach out, she pushes away. I can only wait until she's ready and until she realises we aren't her enemy. How lies, awful lies can damage relationships. What confusion and distrust causes people to behave that way?

I disagree with SDS. I feel that there is a calm after the storm, like when the hurricane finally leaves.... Your question is from an early Jefferson Airplane song. remember that was from a time of great questioning about the way that things were. It helps us to not only remember the epoch but also reminds us of greater truths in life.

Interesting enough, lies are what created the love we had, but the feelings we shared were real and the feelings can't be wrong, after all we were just two lost souls who found one another, in a time when conflict seemed unavoidable and happiness so far away. I can't change the past, but only will ask that forgiveness be upon us as we walk the path we have each chosen.

When we become a truly loving person, love as a quality of being, not just situation dependent, then,
the truth that we would experience would not turn into a lie,
the joy within would be unbounded,
the need for another to love, redundant !
Maybe, others would find us unavoidably contagious regarding love, joy, etc !!

No. Walk on. Nothing can harm you. A new chapter is about to start. You will emerge out the other side of this time. It is better that you find your own way. If you have some one to help you that is good but it is better if you are alone for a time before you travel with another.

Impossible.
If your lucky you may only want the kind of love you were once capable of. The heart that once was your will. The passion that was once your furry.
But after the root has been mangled how can a tree stand on empty ground. What air can it bring for you to breath. How can a bird fly with no feathers.

Do you want somebody to love
don't you need somebody to love
wouldn't you love somebody to love?
When the garden flowers are dead yes and your mind is full of red!
Geez you better find somebody to love! Yep Jefferson Airplane ready for the Starship!

It would be wonderful to have someone to love. But more importantly I would want someone I can TRUST unconditionally.

What can be better than unconditional trust. Of course if I could have both, I would have the best of both worlds. Preferably they should be one and the same person.

Yes, you want someone to take the pain away
Someone that will hear what you wanna say
To hold you close and ever-tight
To dry your tears throughout the night

Thats when you neeed someone to love.
