i don't always pick my contacts as best answers, but most of the time they do have the best answer, that's why they're my contacts.
most of them are super stimulated and have the IQ's of absolute genius's.
being unfair or a jerk would be for you to pick an answer that really isnt a good answer just to keep from picking your contacts as best answer

Because it IS being a jerk and totally unfair to all the innocent answerers faithfully putting in their best effort only to lose out to a 3 word answer from someone on your Contact list!

people on your contacts list, are often people who think the same way as you, so could be more likely to give an answer you are looking for.....
Any new people who's answers you like, are likely to be a new contact.
Pick who's answer you like. either a current or future contact

No you just picked mine and I wasn't ur contact. Till now that is. I usually always pick my contacts because they are smarter and funnier than the rest of the morons on answers. I mean that in the nicest possible way. And my poor contacts accts get deleted so much they need the pts.

Only if you do it too often... Then everyone else won't answer your questions anymore because they know they won't get Best Answer...
But I remembered that you had picked my answer as the best, and I'm not your contact. You are not a jerk dear... You probably just think too much. ^_^

I pick whoever I believe has the best answer, hands down. :-) Sometimes it has been a contact, sometimes it hasn't.

I think so.the problem is when you find most of your contacts answering one of your questions and you are stuck for who to vote for.
I'd suggest keeping it simple and vote for answers on merit and not purely for people connected to you.
