How !! iam; so sad to hear this , family relacion i s a good thing to have. i love both side of my family mom and dad. i just can't lived with-out either side. my mom family are from paris (my great- grand-paren'ts) and my dad is from columbia.(centrer america) and i was born in panama; we are very closed ; both side of the family are loving caring, they spoiled us gaved us every thing we wanted when we were growing up. yes some members of the family had some issues like most family do . but i just can't pick=sides that won't be fair for me. to do that both side of my families like to party do things and going places; we all traved all over the world. and we stayed in -touch with each other. we write and called as often as we can. and now that ia'm over here in america i missed every one that are still back home and the others that live in another state.

I'm closer to my mom's side but as far as hanging out goes, I'd rather be around my dad's side b/c all they do is party 24/7

I know both sides REALLY well, and they're both the same, but if i Had to choose it would be my moms side, cause i guess i see them like every weekend, and they know how to party it up LOL

My mother's side. They are all so warm and caring. My Dad's side only comes around when they need money or want you to do something for them. :)
