I seriously pray. Remember this, What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Before you enter a home or building, say quietly "Peace Be To This House." - Luke 10:5. Those who are on the premises won't know that you should be credited for the peacefulness therein.
I especially read Psalm 35 (Plead My Cause) for protection against that which is unknown and known. Peace and God Bless.

Yes, I have felt at times like people that I would want to "get me" just do not get me.

And I think I know why...

It is part of a defense mechanism. Something happened in our lives when we were younger. We made it mean that people wouldn't understand us. And now we use that as a justification for not communicating well, not connecting to others, and as an excuse to be feel act withdrawn.

It's just made up anyway...think about it.

People rarely understand themselves, understanding others is less likely. And you can't possibly know if they understand you or not. You make a judgment as to whether they do or they do not, and then you look for evidence to back up your decision.

I suggest you create a new story for yourself. Start sayingto yourself and others that people do understand you, and that reality will start to show up in place of "not being understood"

We always look for ways to prove (or make) ourselves right.

There comes times when everyone fails to understand you. It happens with everyone. there is no definite solution for this actually. Just try & be calm at those times because most of the time people lose their heads in such situations which makes things even more complicated. Act wise, you'll find the way.

yeah many times and at that moment i got 2 choices one if i feel that the listeners might understand if i made it simple for him and tried to explain again or another way so i give it a try, hthe 2nd choice is when i feel that this person got no intintion to understand so i finish the discussion and open another topic and talk about sth else

I know for a fact that people do not understand me, It is just the look on their face that tells me that. There are 3 people that are close, one closer then the rest, but they are not there yet and have no clue really they are just seeing the tip of the Iceberg!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, sometimes it happens that, the people I want them to understand me, don't follow me like what you said. But then who cares, forget it. I just forgive them thinking that they are poor creatures who don't understand righteousness of my feelings. Didn't the great people in this world do the same thing
