$50 isn't a lot if it's a well made sweater, and if you can afford it. Check brand name; look at how it's made and check family finances. Think too about its style. Will you wear this sweater many times, or will it go out of fashion really soon. $50 for 50 wearings isn't too bad. $50 for two wearings is expensive.

it depends on the quality like i want this sweater frm abercrombie and itd 50 dollars too. but aberccrombie is good qaulity so my mom said ok the next time we go. but if its from lke target no ay if tis from like AE or A&F than yes its woth it. y dont u do some chores or save money to pay for half of it and maybe yr mom will let u get it, do some extra things to help her out . i hope u get it

You have to consider what the sweater looks like. Can you wear it with other pieces of your wardrobe? Is it by a well-known brand? Will it last you at least a few years?
Also consider your family's financial situation. Do both of your parents have well paying jobs? Do you have any siblings going to or in college or university?

it's never too much if you want it bad enough....I have a few $200 shirts....if you don't spend it on something you truly want....you might end up wasting it on something useless....you only live once, try not to deny yourself.
