Back to school, graduation, or just a get to together?
1950's bobby socks and all, Hawaii theme with grass skirts.

Do you have any hobbies? What tv shows do you like? What are your favorite movies?
You may be able to have "theme" birthday based on your answers.
Visit a party store and check out their decorations. I saw some luau decorations as well as pirates, princess, etc.
