i've been married for 20 yrs, in my late thirties, is it normal to have sex 2 - 3 times a week? my hubby and seem to still enjoy our love life, i thought people get bored after a few yrs of marriage or become less interest in sex!

5 to 7 times a week at your age, we're both 53 and about 3 times a week for us, sometimes more, sometimes less. I want it more than i get it thats for sure lol
Usually the limiting factor is # of hours we work and the stress level.
A good sex life is just icing on the cake !!

I'm not married so I really can't relate. Do you have kids? Do you work? This can cause a women to not be as thrilled about having sex because she could be tired. Another thing could be that your husband has a higher sex drive. Personally, I have sex 2 to 3 times a day. I don't work, and I don't have kids and on I side note I get different books to to try new tricks to spice up the relationship.

2-3 times a day is better-- though probably not "normal." For most people 2-3 times a week is fine. If you work at keeping the magic alive, and learn new tricks for the bedroom, you should be able to do it as often as you like.

I personally think that a couple should do it when they mood is right and that may be 2 - 3 times a week it might be 10 times a week and nothing the next week but my Fiance says he's good with 3 times a week so that's what we do now.

I wish I got it once a week. After I had a child it seems like we just dont have time plus me husband just sits watching tv all the time. He never has time for me. So if you are getting it 2-3 a weeks enjoy and be happy. I am only 21 and he's 34.

my woman and I have been together for almost 5 years.in the beginning we(i guess i should say I)enjoyed a very active sex life.but as years go by things change... i would really enjoy having realtions at least 2-3 times a week.its more like once every 10 days.how am i supposed to keep the fire burning when it is so seldom ?i really love her and enjoy having sex with her.so if your getting it 2-3 times a week then you are lucky !!!!

Im in my late 30s, we still have sex 2-4 times a week. So I guess were normal! We do have months were it may be a little less, depends on health, work, and stress.

I think it depends on each of you individually. At times my husband and I don't have sex for a week, other times it's once or twice a day almost every day lol...
I think the standard is 2-3 times a week though, but hey, if you're getting more, and you like it, BONUS! If you're not getting as much as you would like to, talk to your partner.

Well normal is relative, what is normal to you may not be normal to another. So that is an unreasonable question to ask as their is not concrete answer.
Normal for me is 2-3 times a week granting I'm in a comitted relationship which I am!
