it depends on how long do u take to know and understand people...n it also depends on who u r picking for a date..if it is with a really good n well known friend for whom feelings have just developed then i think the first date might be good enough but if it is a stranger then it's up to u on how fast u know him and feel comfortable enough to let him love u......maybe 5-8 dates is ideal of course the duration of dates mattrs too..........

You wait any number of dates that you two are comfortable with. You make up your own rules. If you say no sex for the first 6 months, till you're married, or what ever! It's up to you to set your own morals.

There's never been a rule for that. Wait till both of you are comfortable with each other before going to bed together. Do it because of love and not for the sake that both of you had dated.

You probably shouldn't have sex until you are married. The number of dates you go on doesn't mean squat. Unless you truly love somebody, you probably shouldn't have sex before marriage.
