Unless he has a psychological disorder, most likely it is unintentional. He probably doesn't want to let you know he digs you too much, so he just calls every other day. However, if he starts being unreliable, get rid of him. Nobody has time for that kind of garbage. Relax.

I do the same type of thing I only have the volume of the tv on an even number. I think it could be come kind of OCD but I doubt I think we're just stupid.
