Yes, I chose to be baptized when I was a teenager. If you think baptism is "silly religion stuff", you definitely shouldn't do it; it wouldn't matter anyway.

I was. I no longer practice mass religion, but I do believe in God and am happy I was brought up in a church. I feel having that extra social support system of church is important, especially for children, it gives them another outlet other than school. I still pray all the time, more often than my friends and family who go to church. I don't believe the Bible as gospel. I think it's a great book, but it is simply that, a book. A couple thousand years from now we may all be worshipping Harry Potter for all we know.

Yes, Bella I was baptized...with all due respect I will not call your choice silly and you should refrain from trivializing religion in the same way.

Yessirree! Baptized in the Ohio River 10/19/1969. I grew up in the Baptist church and we were dunked and dunked by choice. (Baptists only believe in baptism by immersion and only believe in Baptism AFTER a confession of faith.)
I am an active member of a UM church now, but still hold Baptist beliefs on baptism.

Yes I have been baptized. It's obvious that are not because of the unkind and uninformed manner in which you asked your question.

Yes. I didn't have a whole lot of say in the matter since I was a baby, but I'm glad my parents made that decision for me.

I was, but only because my mother made me. I don't think it's silly because it's someone's beliefs and I always say, "Who am I to tell someone what they believe in is silly or stupid. They might believe what I believe in is silly or stupid, even though I hold it dear to my heart."
