If you are referring to the e-mail that has been circulation about the planet Mars to appear as big as a full moon, it is not going to happen. The planet Mars will be very bright and be about 34 million miles away, but it will only be a very bright red dot and not as big as a full moon. The two moon information is a hoax.

Questions usually have an interrogative and a verb, and enough information to give an answer; yours does not.

However, I'll hazard a guess you're asking about the email currently circulating on the internet saying that there will be "two moons" in the sky on August 27. This is a hoax and is physically impossible.

If your talking about the email that is going around. There is some truth to it. The truth was that it was here back in 2003! That is when it made history. That was its nearest approach to us in nearly 60,000 years. At that time Mars appeared 6 times bigger and 85 times brighter. It also had another close encounter with us in 2005, but that happened in Oct. Not Augest. and it was about 20% smaller then in 2003.

The next next close approach will be in Dec 2007, but not nearly as close as it was in 2003 or in 2005. Your next big one is going to be in 2018 it will be simialiar to the one in 2003, But not until 2087 will it be closer then it was in 2003.

And Mars Will NOT be bigger then the moon. If that was to happen it would cause tides. So dont be dissapointed.

Here are some links for you to read more on if you would like one is from snopes. They are a good place to check to see if things like this is real or not, and the other one is from NASA!

I hope this helps you out some.
