to be guilty of murdering his daughter, there is a definite bloodlust among some on here, it's as if some of you are lining up with dagger in hand.

Edit ; Scorpion, I don't include you in this, I know your views on this matter, I'm talking about certain ones who continually go over and over the same questions, it's as if they can't wait to stick the knives in.

Hi Jim,

I can't believe that people behave this way!

This is why bringing back hanging is not a good idea and will never be bought back because people behave in this way, and they are the MINORITY thank god..

People have (hung) Gerry McCann without any facts at all.....other than they left their kids alone that night.

I think most people are genuinely conjecturing and searching for truth through asking questions. However there are a select few who are fanatical and a bit scary about this particular subject. I am all for people voicing their opinions and I love a good debate but some people have gone beyond searching for answers to the ridiculous.

I don't think he killed her in cold blood but I am willing to consider the possibility of there having been an accident which they have covered up. Regardless of my views on their innocence or guilt surrounding her death I cannot resign myself to the fact that two highly educated doctors felt that it was perfectly normal to go out and leave their children unsupervised in a strange country. People keep calling it a mistake but I do not hold to that. A mistake is locking your keys in the car or forgetting to put the rubbish out.

I still feel that there are a lot of unanswered questions and lies.

Madeleine needs and deserves to be laid to rest with dignity and respect. It's no less than she deserves.

No! I have always endeavoured to stick to the facts and nothing more. Wild speculation is I agree not helpful but that's where it ends. The McCanns could have done more to create a better rapore and sympathetic approach rather than from comments made against them.

Jim g, I have never once said that I think the McCann parents killed Madeleine however I have always said there is more to this case then the parents want us to believe. How all this will pan out is anybody’s guess but I hope for Madeleine the truth does come out.

You know my views about them leaving 3 babies alone but I have never been part of the so called hate campaign.

Edit* jim g I think some of those who post such horrendous question don't really have an opinion on the case either way they are purely doing it to get people to react.

I actually want Maddie to be found alive even at this late stage, although i think this is now very unlikely. I would like Gerry and Kate to be held accountable for neglect but i do not think they are guilty of murder.......yet........i will withhold my opinion on that until the whole Truth is known x

I don't think anyone on here has ever said that - what they have asked is the questions that the media are now asking - remember, we were asking these questions 100 days ago and the media have only just caught up.

Let's face facts - not saying he did or didn't - BUT - he had opportunity - time - the knowledge - someone had to ask the question.

If he did and he get's found out then all well and good - string him up - if not, then face facts - they are neglectful parents and the onus is still on them for that neglect.

No amount of cross world meetings will change that.

No I think he should have to face the music for leaving his children alone, just like anyone else would. His status as a wealthy professional is the only thing preventing him and his wife having Social Services on their backs.

I don't think either of them murdered Madelaine at all. I just think they were both incredibly naive to think it was okay and safe to leave three under 4's in a room on their own with no supervision.
However this whole case just seems so odd with so many different stories.

I don't think anyone actually wants him to be guilty of murder, but the more we hear the more we learn that there is more to this than what the McCanns have said so far.

Interesting question. I've never really thought about it to be honest. I don't really want Maddie to be dead, obviously, but I would like to know what happened. I don't want her to have been killed by her parents but if she was then I would like people to know so that they can be prosecuted. Whatever happened has already happened and if she was killed by anyone then I would like them brought to justice. Don't you want the truth and the abductor/killer behind bars?
