It is an older comedy (90s?)with two guys who are in Turkey or somewhere over in the middle east. All I know was it was a terrible movie but I am stuck on trying to remember the name of it! One of those trivia questions that gets stuck in your mind, you know. I thought it was Gene Wilder in it but I looked that up and couldn't find anything. Any ideas out there?

Fright is right. It is most probably "Ishtar". And you are right, it was considered a one of the worst movies made. It's not Gene Wilder. It' s Dustin Hoffman and Warren Beatty

I think "Ishtar" was actually in the eighties, although I don't have any other guess.
