Yes a woman can ask a man to marry her. He has the right to say either yes or no, or at least let me consider it. How the man responds will depend on his feelings toward the woman and his views of male female relationships. In practice a man does not ask a woman to marry him unless he has a pretty good idea she will say yes. That is probably a good practice for a woman to follow as well.

Yes, always used to be tradition that a woman only asked a man in a leap year, but times have progressed so she can ask him anytime.
Just make sure he is the right man and ask him, if he accepts you both need to work out the wedding details.

Anyone can ask anyone anything. This is a thing I would never do. This would be taking away from you and from him. If a man wants to have a woman for his wife, he really puts a lot of thought in to it normally. This is a big thing for him also. You probably love the thought of his asking you...what it would be like etc. I would strongly suggest that you wait, patience really is a virtue, let him ask you. You can discuss marriage in general with him, plant the seed so to speak, find out his thoughts on the whole thing.....plant the seed and hope that it grows, that is my advice.

Yes, I asked my fiance to marry me. It wasn't any 'romantic' proposal. It was just a flat out straight forward conversation. I said I wanted to marry him and he said he would marry me.
Why did I ask him? Well, I spent over a year convincing him that I was against marriage. He was iffy about it and later admitted that he was never going to ask me because I said, "I'll spend my life with you, but no marriage." He was cool with that, but he admits to secretly wanting to marry me. After spending all the time saying how much I hated the idea of getting married, I changed my mind. After all, a wedding would be a nice event for our familits and decided that the party was worth it even if the beliefs behind it are ridiculous and asked him.

okay you can ask her of course but !! if you know the man for long time and you have good and bad days together,then you can ask,other wise don't ask him if you know just months or even year,
if you think he likes you and he carse about you and you know him for long time just ask him. good luck.
