when u got ur new motor with four wires, you should have purchased a capacitor that goes with motor. capacitor size to use is written on the motor. u should have two brown wires on new motor. these brown wires connect direct to the new capacitor. The other two wires (black & white) connect to the load side of the contactors. good luck

Look at the wiring diagram on both the old and new motor. either the new motor is dual voltage, or hs a way to reverse rotation using the extra wire.

You've got a multi-voltage motor and the wires you use will be determined by the input voltage from your unit.
