As a Canadian fan, I'm just hoping our guys don't get too badly destroyed later today. We beat the Virgin Islands yesterday by 10 points, the same team the Americans beat by 64.

Can Canada keep it close? If not, how ugly will it be?

No, not without Steve Nash.
The U.S. will probably win by about 50 to 60 points.
If Canada had Nash they would have a better chance.

I predict the score to be 109-71, meaning the USA will win by 36 points. The only way Canada will come close is if Dalembert scores 45 points, grabs 20 rebounds, and blocks 7 shots, or if Steve Nash comes out of retirement from international play and suddenly joins the team. I am rooting for Canada, anyway.

you have some issues incorrect: a million. individuals study that we made a pair tries to annex Canada in college (a minimum of I did). 2. New England replaced into called New England on account that those colonies' foundings (England-->New England, York-->manhattan, Hampshire-->New Hampshire, etc.), no longer by using fact the British beat us alongside the Canadian border. 3. maximum individuals are conscious that we had remote places information in the well known conflict. 4. France replaced into an incredible help rather and we properly known their contribution. The French army trapped Cornwallis in at Yorktown and compelled them to offer up and Lafayette replaced into even made an honorary citizen of the U.S. in present day times. besides the fact that if, the yankee troops had to proceed to exist by employing themselves for a on a similar time as as France did no longer help militarily till 1778 (conflict started in 1775), and France basically helped out after the individuals proved to them that they had a wager of triumphing on the conflict of Saratoga. 5. The Spanish and Dutch did extremely short while in comparison with the French. They helped very overdue in the conflict, gave some money and aspects, held "unfavorable" comments in the direction of Britain, and forced British transport lines. do no longer make it out like it replaced into the British Empire vs. the international. 6. Sorry if we've slightly delight in our revolution. on the outset, the colonists had virtually no danger of triumphing against the ideal militia tension in the international. the marvelous British militia and political leaders on the time theory that the little insurrection may well be truthfully overwhelmed in a count number of months, no longer drag on for over 6 years, much less that they might lose the combat. 7. You look confusing the yankee Revolution with the conflict of 1812 at circumstances. in the conflict of 1812 individuals have been offended with the British for quite a few reasons (impressment of sailors, no longer leaving forts in the North West Territory as promised in the Treaty of Paris, etc.). We invaded Canada and in all honesty have been given our a**es kicked. We nonetheless had a puny military and individuals then have been apprehensive that the British might come decrease back and take us another time. The conflict led to a needed stalemate, return to prestige quo, yet individuals have been given to maintain their independence, to that end why some ignorant between us or those out of faculty for rather a on a similar time as think of we "gained" the conflict of 1812, no person did.

I'm rooting for Canada, but not hopeful that we'll win. I wouldn't venture to guess the point spread for the game, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
