All women's bodies produce signs of ovulation. You should learn how to track these signs to determine whether or not you are ovulating in any given month.
Since you've gone 6 months without a period, something is up. Have you taken an over-the-counter pregnancy test? That would be a good start. I knew a lady who was pregnant and never felt pregnant, nor did she look very pregnant (she was a little overweight). Plus she never felt the baby move until she was more than 8 months along because she had this super thick placenta.
So, take a test if you haven't...if you have CALL A DOCTOR and set up an appointment to figure out why your body isn't menstruating when it should be.

If you havent had a period in 6 months you need to go to the doctor something is going on. If you are not having a period you probly arnt ovulating. Your missing your whole cycle. Maybe you are pregnant. A home pregnancy test is a good start , do it now. If you are pregnant get into the doctor asap. Prenantal care is very important, to producing a healthy baby. If your not get in to the dr anyway, you can have sex 6 times a day and if your not ovulating you wont get pregnant. Also after you figure out why you arnt ovulating sex every day isnt your best bet every 2 or 3 days is better. That way your partner is getting to build and grow healthy sperm in more quanity and quality.

First of all have you done a home pregnancy test? If you haven't had a period for 6 months and are not pregnant you are probably not ovulating . You need to see a GYN. If you are pregnant you need prenatal care by an OB ASAP.
Also , before you really consider getting pregnant you should have a complete physical.
You mention your "partner". Are you married? If you are not married why are you trying to get pregnant? I hope you are not underage and considering this. Whatever your situation you need to see a doctor.

It is impossible to tell, unless you have some tests done.
You can buy ovulation tests at the dollartree store for $1. Buy a bunch, or get a 30-day pack at the pharmacy for about $30.
(I like the pharmacy tests better).
Test at the same time of day (later in am or pm) every day.
I would START by seeing the obgyn. It is possible you have cystic ovaries, or hypothyroidism.
They can tell if you ovulated if you get bloodwork 8 days after you get a positive ovulation test, then they will check your progesterone level in the blood. (P4).
I got pregnant last month. My p4 level was 14 at 4dpo, which is good.
Going 6 months without a period is a big deal, and really causes havoc in trying to conceive. You need help at this point.

Have you taken a pregnancy test? if people are telling you, you look pregnant and you haven't had a period in 6 months i think you should take a test. If it does turn out that you are in fact not pregnant i would make an appointment to see your doctor. they should be able to run some tests and find out why you are not having a period.
