I think you want to get rid of the ring because your pissed off but I think you should keep it. Put it away somewhere safe and eventually you will meet someone else. You don't need paper work any jeweler can appraise the value. You do this for several reasons because you will meet someone else someday and you won't have to look for a new ring just get it resized. Then trying to sell it is a joke because pawnshops or Ebay or any place else won't even give you a fraction of what it cost. For instance a $2,500 ring will get you maybe $400 if that. Also charity won't let you claim full value either so you lose all the way around. Just being honest and telling you what I would do and I know because a friend of mine wanted to do the same thing and he just decided to keep it.

pawn shop or some jewelery places will take it no trade- buy yourself something. I've seen adds in the paper before- for diamond rings- wedding and engagement- get it appraised by a jeweler and sell in paper- give someone a good deal.

There are a few ways you can sell it. You can put it up for auction at a site like Ebay, pawn it but you won't get the real value for it, or run an ad in your local newspaper stating you have it for sale.

Don't get rid of it, keep it as a souvenir instead. Don't you like that? Deal with paper works when you can. Get over it and be happy that you have one.

Pawn it, sell it on E-bay, or put an add in the paper.

I would recommend selling it on eBay....Pawn shops will give you next to nothing for it...unless you don't mind getting much for it.
