What major food chain in the north east has Denny's/waffle house style hash browns?

Need a place in S Jersey, major chain or individual establishment that serves the little shoe string type hash browns

Nowhere has Hash browns as good as Waffle House. Try a local diner, truck stop and or hole in the walls for similar hash browns.

You can also make them at home. Peal potatoes, put them in a pan of water covering them then put the burner on high and when the water comes to a boil take them off in 5 minutes after boil. Strain and then shred. Dry and cover and put the shredded potatoes in the fridge for an hour or until cool.

Cover bottom of the pan with vegetable oil and fry over med/ med high heat until brown (don't stir them and pack them tight in small frying pan, they takes about 10 minutes per side.) on bottom then flip and when both sides are golden brown serve.

You can also put all the fixings in with the potatoes. Add onions, tomatoes, ham, jalapeno peppers, mushrooms. Than add slice american cheese and then can chili when you take them off the stove.
