you'll only live once...and finding the right one for you is a constant search for now. you will learn so many things from your experiences in life, but often times you have to take the risk and explore. the most important thing is for you to be happy and to live a productive life with someone who you think deserves the kind of love you can & could share.

You can fall in love with anyone, but I think its wrong to date your bestfriend ex, especially if the friend is still in love with his ex. and you know he will get angry if he found out you are in love with her. Its like opening a can of worm. Keep your friendship and find someone else to fall in love to.

Best friend protocol demands giving him a courtesy notification so he can prepare himself, and how well or how poorly he takes it largely depends on how long ago they dated. But they are exes, so that means the ties are sufficiently severed (though I realize there can likely be residual feelings unresolved, particularly in the early days following a breakup).

some say they can't help falling in love, i say you can prevent it. if your friend isn't okay with it, is it really worth angering them so you can have a relationship that probably won't last as long as the friendship? if yes, then proceed. the answer should be no, though.
