Over rated is a tough word to define in baseball...you can call Arod overrated all yo want, and I am sure many of you do, but he is the best player in baseball...hands down. Jeter? 4 rings, 11 years...sounds pretty good to me, can't call him overrated. Clemens? I hate Clemens. (by the way it is 28 million for a full season, he "only" makes 18 mill.) But it is hard to call the most dominant pitcher in our baseball generation overrated.
Reyes is pretty overrated, but still has a ton of time to reach his potential...Pujols is a sheer man-beast, so it can't be him...Bonds, very very close to being topson this list...
All that being said (and i really could keep going and name every star) I think Carlos Beltran is the most overrated player in MLB. I can't stomach hearing people call him the best centerfielderin the game (Torii Hunter is an insane fielder) or the best hitting Center fielder in the game...(I know he is having a terrible season, but Andru Jones hits the bukake out of the ball) people in ny act as if Beltran is the next coming, I think he is average at best

Barry Zito, his numbers have declined for the past three years yet hes still one of the best pitchers in the game. haha

A -ROD...he has great stats, but does he do it consistently when it counts. NO!
Doesn't have a great postseason career, hasn't won a title (yet). So as of now, I say him because his regular season stats are amazing, but they haven't helped his team win anything.
Use the same reasoning to add BONDS to the list.
Although, I am a hypocrite as I like BONDS and not A-ROD (as he is a Yankee) so I root for BONDS...
