Am trying to purchase an AGP 8x/4x graphics card that will allow me to play secondlife without (too much) lag. I ahve found out that the minimum graphics card (Nvidia GeForce 6600) they suggest is no longer made/supplied, any suggestions? my budget IS limited.

If your budget is very limited get a 7300 gt AGP for less than $60( once over clocked faster than a 7600 GS AGP if you get a decent brand) if you have money consider a 7600 gt AGP.

I found that, depending on how powerful your processor is for gaming, that ATI Radeon has some of the best AGP graphics cards out there. I have an ATI ALL-IN_WONDER card that i bought back in 2002 and it still works. I have a Radeon card in my laptop and often play onliine games too with little to no lag. Try looking on eBay, ATI Radeon 256 Mb are around $60.00 where I live.
