Mr. H, I'm not familiar with that brand of slotted rotor. We use EBC brand slotted rotors for costumers who want slotted brake rotors. Some of these are produced in Canada as well as England. The cast iron is always of high quality. I'd dig around their website and find out exactly where they are produced. Off-shore brake rotors (China, Taiwan) are not our favorites. The metallurgy is usually poor therefore annealing properties can't be regulated. They tend to be machined to thicknesses where re-machining can never be done. They tend to warp easily and re-machining only makes matters worse.
I personally like your idea of the choice of slotted and or dimpled only brake rotors. Juicy pictures of through drilled parts tend to crack around the holes sooner or later.
To keep your nice aluminum wheels clean think about using organic based disc brake pads such as EBC Green Stuff.
If you've ever noticed Toyota aluminum wheels on any vehicle on the street they always appear to be clean. This is do to the fact that their OEM pads are organic based. This material is very gentle on brake rotors as there are no metallic particles to grind away precious rotor stock. They tend to be very quiet, no squeaking or high pitched harmonic sound.
Next in-line are ceramic based pads. While not as clean certainly a wide margin cleaner than semi-metallic or metallic pads.
Have fun shopping!

find out what minimum specs are.then check out against the actual thickness of what you are thinking of buying.
thats one of the scams that the manufacturers of rotors use. ie.. sale of a rotor brand new thats .0020 thicker than minimum spec.as soon as its installed and you drive to work and back it's probably gone under spec.give or take a little
