lol, good question. the drivers have so many layers of fireproof clothing on that they sweat buckets, therefore they do not need to pee very often. as for taking a dump, i assume they do it before they get suited up or things might get a bit smelly in the cockpit.

They do it in their race suits..... there's numerous stories about it if you look hard enough.... I particularly recall one about Johnny Herbert doing it before the start of the British Grand Prix one year, and the mechanics had to mop it up with paper towels, and he tossed it at some official, who caught it.
If they hold a piss in, and they have a big crash it can cause them serious internal injuries.

Not so sure about in any other forms of racing, but I do know that a few years ago after Tony Stewart won a race they had to sneak him away for a suit change before the interviews because he had relieved himself in more ways than one.

If they cannot hold it, they don't.
But be realistic; the race is only two hours long !!!!

I would assume they do what they have to do. This can't happen too often, they're adults and probably have a good level of self-control.

guess they either crap themselves, or pull over and lose the race. i would think that they would "go" beforehand.
