Ok, no wise cracks! I know I'm a mug already.lol
My question is do you prefer to drink from a cup or a mug?

I like to use a cup myself, don't know why but to me a hot drink has a better flavour in a cup. x

I like a mug of tea in the morning, but use a cup the rest of the day - (posh voice) 'more refined, don't you know'! Sorry, can't do the accent on here! think Paul Merton, he does it quite well.

If you stick your little finger out when you use a cup, it's probably a natural balancing act, because the dainty old fashioned cup handles are smaller. A mug usually has a bigger handle so you can get more fingers in and no need to stick the little finger out to balance.

A bone china mug gives the best of both worlds as you have the size of a mug (more coffee) but the finer quality you get with a cup. No nasty thick mugs for me.

Down to old time peferences I spose Use a cup for tea, and a mug for coffee or chocolate. Again I make my tea in a pot... Most people seem to put a tea bag in a mug or cup . All a matter of personal taste.

I have a glass mug made to look like a pint container with a handle...it even says "mason" on it like a pickling jar, but the threads on the lip don't actually work.

I picked it up as a set of three with a matching salt and pepper shaker about 17 years ago. I WILL NOT use anything else for my coffee in the morning.

When Her Majesty comes to tea it is always a best china cup, with my little finger held high, but when I'm out in the rough a hot steaming mug is the order of the day.Thank you for the Ba Sylvia, I don't know if I quite fit the description you gave me but I won't shatter any illusions.( PS nice hair do .)

I prefer a mug. although i think the LARGE mugs, you get in coffee shops like Costa coffee are a taking the idea of a mug too far. Their like a soup bowel, you need a spoon to drink your coffee.
