The man who turned America into a third-world banana republic, with decaying infrastructure, a bloated and ineffective military, a vast network of domestic spies, and no manufacturing jobs.

Carter was a bad President? How many wars did we lose when Carter was President?

If you go by this, Clinton and Bush are equally as bad. Jimmy Carter, which is even worse, is as bad as Hoover was. Hoover was the president at the time when the Great Depression started in 1929.

HANGOVER OF THE WAR IN VIET NAM. THERE WERE GAS SHOTHAGES & DON'T FORGET A HOSTAGE CRISIS WITH IRAN. DECAYING INFRASTUCURE PUT THE BLAME ON LOCAL GOVERNMENTS THAT RECEIVE THE FUNDS & USE THEM FOR OTHER PURPOSES. THE MILITARY IS QUITE EFFECTIVE & FAR FROM BLOATED.

Cut the crap! It isn't up to any of us but HISTORY to comment for all prosperity what his administration has accomplished. Infrastructure takes DECADES to deteriorate, our military is damned effective, spies in this age of terror are a necessary evil, and the jobless rate is fine. It saddens me that so few of our politicians are true statesmen. Nowadays all you need is lots and lots of money and the right connections and you can be president. But most folks with that much money and connections are actually corporate puppets with a lot of buddies and not true representatives of or advocates for the American people.

Presidents in the past were very smart, truly educated and were committed to this country. Nowadays presidents are just corporate-backed candidates who have favors to repay. If you believe otherwise, you are fooling yourself and I challenge you to examine the corporate donors of ANY winning candidate and then look at the president's biggest proposed legislation - and sadly it is ALWAYS directly linked.

A Real leader took over in Ronald Reagan and those hostages where RELEASED!
