hey i was wondering if anyone can explain or give me a step by step guide on how to put a zip into clothing...i got a fancy dress party to go to tomorrow and i bought a zip that i need to sow on....how do i do this???

First you need a sewing machine .Pin your zip onto your dress .then tack it on Then use your zipper attachment to sew it in .Do one side first then open the zip then sew the other side .Make sure you catch the ends in .If you are not sure .Have a look on your dress and see how its done first .hope this helps you.

you can ask a local haberdashery x x x or a tailorer xxxxx best method is to sow it using the sowing machine but doing by hand isnt at all hard x x x theres 2 parts 2 da zips, left strip and ryt strip that links x x x
1)the zip should be facing 2 u lyk in all coats and make sure the zip goes up not down wen zipping xxx wen u zip the zip and it goes down, turn it the other way!!!!
2) sow the left side and right side in opposite sides of the clothing making sure the zip is closed.

You need a sewing machine and the little attachment for zippers.
Any sewing machine manual should have step by step instructions.

You'll probably find it far easier to sew it on rather than sowing it.
