Sorry come again, I'm not understanding your question. Are u saying to put troops in the U.K. just like these two countries? What for? we got nothing against the British and the british have nothing against Americans. They just dislike our president thats all and that our country went out of the Kyoto treaty for environmental purposes.Other than that the two countries are very close to each other, and if u don't believe me go to England and meet some people there. They are very friendly, I know so because I went two summers ago to England.

Gods I hope not.
I agree that poking our noses into foreign affairs is not good thinking, but policing the UK streets with troops would also cause unrest.
I am fortunate in living in a freindly rural environment, but if I see a patrol of armed soldiers wandering around, I would be a bit scared.

No but I do think this bunch of no marks we call a government should give the courts the go-ahead for severe sentences and make the facilities for them to be carried out in full

Yes they should. Our troops are supposed to be protecting Britain, with all the terrorist scares recently they should be here - not over in Afghan and Iraq. My husband is in the army and it annoys the hell out of me that he'll be going away for 6months mid-sept, to fight a battle that isn't ours. With news today that three more have died out there I have to ask myself - how many more? This country is a bl00dy shambles and so is the government. In 50 years it will be the British who are seeking asylum in other countries.

The way this country is going, I would not be surprised at the least if actually happened one day.
It`s bad, really bad when people are afraid to leave their houses at night because of the knives/guns and yob culture.
I`m so glad I don`t live anywhere near a city or a large town.
I and my neighbours can sit safely outside with a few drinks knowing we are safe from the city/towns thugs.

Given that the police seem unable to keep law and order I'd say yes.

Why not the police for what ever reason are not coping, at least we would have a visual deterrent if nothing else.
