This not to frown on other cultures but you should live out in the west a long time bfore you understand their culture. Sex, divorse , affairs etc are treated very lightly in the west.
Their religious beliefs also tell them Christains are completely forgiven on Sundays when they confess their sins after partying on saturday night.
If you see your self at ease with that kind of life, go ahead. Again there are many Christains who are not of that life style, but even they are very tolerant of such beliefs.

So what, if u are in love u must all try to woo the girl. She has not yet married the other boy. U must try till the last minute, the girl may change her mind.
