I've learnt swimming at sea and the best natural place for anyone could be. In Singapore, there should be any problem for you to find a coach.

I think it's best to take lessons at a local pool, the sea compared to the local pool is very dangerous

no i do not think you can get private swimming lessons at sea.only at a swimming pool.
