I say if you love writing then don't let anything stop you. English is my first language but was my worst subject in school. As I got older I discovered that I liked writing and have written my first book (which is off to the publisher's) and a first draft of a second book which is close to being finished.

As for getting stuck, it happens. I try to write something else just so I can have the satisfaction of writing something and I find it helps get the creative juices flowing.

Stick with it and don't let anything discourage you!

Its content, not grammer. Its common to get stuck while writing, Im not sure Ive ever hear of a case of someone writing even an essay from start to finish without stopping to rethink or revise, its part of the writing process. As far as writing in English, write in whatever language your most comfortable with, writings can always be translated. If you write well enough, someone will want to translate it for you.

Start writing, finish a book or two and maybe a few short story's then try and find a publisher. They say yes, they say no. At least you know you tryed.

You can also publish your book yourself and sell it on Amazon yourself.

Go for it..
