My current favourite word is CONGLOMERATE. It means "a group of diverse companies under common ownership and run as a single organization". The meaning is boring but I love the sound of the word, particularly the "glom" part.
It also means "composed of heterogeneous elements gathered into a mass; "the conglomerate peoples of New England" "
And it's a pudding stone too.....hmmm...
