We do know, that the consequences for being in Iraq is over 3,500 US troops dead needlessly.
Why do you hate the good, decent Muslims who are our allies in fighting the conservative terrorists? Is it because you are conservative and relate to the conservative terrorists. Are glad we are in Iraq instead of trying to kill Osama bin Laden?

Your question is flawed before you get going as the Muslim population of France is estimated at less than 10%, 27% atheist, and there are certainly not more mosques than churches in UK.
I think we all know the consequences of leaving Iraq but that will be the same whether it is done now or later. The other thing we know is that about 1000 coalition military will die for every year we stay there and that looks to be decades, so don't you think a smart move would be to get out soon and save anything up to 10,000 lives because it will probably not make much difference to the Iraqis although one could argue that such a move might save their lives also.

How do you explain 20% Muslim population in France by talking about Iraq? Are you saying the French should have stayed longer in Algeria? Hell, they ANNEXED the place, fercripesake!
You have a problem with freedom of religion? You think Muslims are all fanatical? Ever talk with one?
The consequence of leaving are as follows:
1) Loose federal government with Kurdish, Shia, and Sunni autonomous rule and internal regional councils in 19 states, a la Biden and Brownback.
2) Oil revenue sharing among federal, autonomous, and household units, a la Biden, Brownback, Richardson.
3) Mideast regional diplomacy and cooperation with Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Iran, a la Biden, Brownback, Richardson, Colin Powell, Condi Rice.
The point, Einstein, is that we withdraw with a PLAN. Novel idea for a Bush apologist like you, I realize.

So you are saying that if we leave Iraq then more muslims will come to the US? Do you want to explain that math to me? Bush signed an executive orcer allowing 8000 muslim Iraqi refugees to come here BECAUSE we are in Iraq. There are 2.5 million Iraqi refugees already in Jordan and Syria. Some of them will eventually make there way here US BECAUSE we are in Iraq.
BTW, do you happen to know what the Muslim population in the US is? It's less than 1%.

Boy you people never stop making misinformed statements like the great General Bush himself, who goes as far as talking about Vietnam. No, the US did not "withdraw" from Vietnam, they were kicked out. And now, South East Asia is one of the most peaceful regions in the world. All thanks to the NVA (no offence, but hey history is history).
As far as Iraq is concerned, there is nothing that neither you, nor I nor any government agency in the world can do anything about controlling and determining the civil war in Iraq.
If the Iraqis want to kill each other for a while, then let them, and peace and stability will come in time. That is what happened in both Vietnam and Lebanon (until the second Israeli invasion).
People go as far as blaming Islam for the problems in Iraq while ignoring that it is in the state of civil war, ROFLMAO.
And remember, you reap what you sow. If you sow deception, destruction and hatred, you get it back along with interest.
From your question, you clearly hate liberals, branding them as either hippies or fanatics. Apart from hating, try to learn something.
Oh, so do you know anything about military intelligence? My point is that no country on earth can do anything to interfere in matters of another country regardless of how much firepower they have. It is exactly the same as Vietnam. The terrorist threat should be another matter. I never said that US forces must completely withdraw, there should be some relevant ones. They should know how to distinguish terrorists. We cannot do anything about Iraq's own matters, we have to leave it to the Iraqis themselves. But I bet that this will come with an enormous guilt in US foreign policy. If there was any real justice in this world, Bush and his cronies would be sent straight to The Hague.

The liberals understand the consequences, they dont care. More muslims in the U.S. expands their voter base. And, for those that will ask how many times I have been to Iraq, the answer is 3 tours during OEF/OIF, and 1 during ODS.

ah, you make a mistake in your question. They know the consequences, they just do not care.
I think destabalizing that region (when one considers the stabalized version of that area) would not be a bad thing.
*Edit*
I understand the consequences of never leaving. How many times have you been to Iraq? How many years did you serve? Yeah, thanks.
I love peoples opinions when they dont have any FACTS in evidence. P.S. If there is a draft you dont have to worry about volunteering, because your number would be up.
*Edit 3*
Liberals do not care. The only thing Liberals care about is gaining POWER. If it does not help them gain power, they couldnt care less. That is why Liberals hate the military, the military tends to be more conservative, hence not helping them gain power. Hence why you have all of these LIBERAL Democrats talking badly about the troops and the war. Reference Pelosi and Murtha.

Precisely the reason we should never have gone into the country in the first place: destabilzation of a region already on the brink...
