I am almost 5 months pregnant for the second time and I agree with you, I would love to skip right to the labour as I don't really enjoy being pregnant either.

I loved both! My first was a bit trickier as she gave me pelvic pain from 6mths onwards and was an induced labour and then a 9pd baby to deliver
2nd was a dream pregnancy and birth. I would probably pick giving birth over pregnancy though as being pregnant takes such a long time and my births were only 8 & 9 hours.
Hard to choose, but birth is so awesome!
But then when pregnant you get the first kicks and hiccups and....oh I can't choose I loved them both!!!

Well Ive had 5 c-sections so my births have been relatively easy (well, not all, as I did have a few labours that werent much fun) I carry my babies quite easily, so Id say being pregnant over the birth, but then again, Id prefer them out. so I guess I cant decide which of the lesser of two evils is better lol

I would skip the birthing part. I never did mind being pregnant. However, since I have several preexisting health problems, I have to have cesareans. After 2 c-sections, I'm not too fond of being cut open...esp since last time had complications. But that's just me :)

I don't think I would give up either. I am only 16 weeks pregnant and with my first so can't really speak from experience. But I would be so damn jealous if my husband got to do all the work and experience everything first hand :)

My pregnancy has been great. I haven't minded it at all so far. I'm not even really *wanting* her to arrive yet. (I am... but I'm patient and if she's not ready I'm ok with this.) If I reach 42 weeks... then we'll talk.
Obviously I haven't experienced the birthing part yet...
