needs to be top right for the computers to scan correctly , it might be read and delivered, or a human might look at it and get it passed through but why take the chance on mail that's important to you

As long as the post office can find a stamp somewhere on the envelope, the letter will be delivered

I am not sure, but I believe that the machines at the post office won't read it as stamped, and then it won't get postmarked, so it will be non-deliverable. Try it and see. If it won't fly, the letter carrier will just leave it in the mailbox, or will return it after it gets kicked out by the machines.

it doesn't matter where you have the stamp as long as you have one, in some cases it may longer to process but legally they have to deliver it.

why would you post this 3 times? Why 3 times here. Yes, it would. It would be a lot slower, possibly five days or more. Go ahead and do it....just be sure its not with your mortgage payment.
