yes like a form of birthcontrol.someone told me immediately after childbirth that can be done since the womb is already tilted, that d&c can be used to tilt it the more as a form of birth control.but i find that weird.one answer here seems to be very informing.a woman with a tilted uterus can not give birth, she will have only c-sections.i dont know if this can be corrected later-on.this tilting of the womb, can the midwife use her hand to do it immediately after delivery or must it be done with dilation and curetage.your answers are highly appreciated.

I really don't understand what you are asking...why would you want to turn the uterus? Are you thinking as some form of birth control... Sorry I just don't get it... can you put some more info I'm curious

Edit// A tilted uterus does not affecting getting pregnant so no it's not a form of birth control. It is also not a procedure that is formed it is just something that some women have. I would suggest looking at some diagrams so you can get an idea of where the uterus is. The entrance to the uterus is the cervis which is the bit that you can feel right at the end of the vagina, so you can't move the entrance. consider a balloon with I don't know, maybe your finger plugging the hole after you've blown it up a bit. You can move the ballon back and forward but you don't actually move where the entrance is. As birth control, a woman can have her tubes tied (tubal ligation). Every month (for most women) an egg is released from the ovaries and travels along the fallopian tubes to the uterus where it is then expelled along with the lining of the uterus (this is a woman's period) if the egg is fertilised it will not be expelled but it will implant into the uterus and grow. In a tubal ligation, the fallopian tubes are tied which stops any sperm from coming into contact with an egg and therefore prevents fertilisation and pregnancy. Again, I suggest looking at some diagrams so that what I've written makes a bit more sense.

I hope I have helped

I dont think the entrance can move, as the entrance is the vagina. but it can tilt, I have a tilted uterus, but dont know if it tilted on its own over time or whether its always been like that (Ive never given birth, but had 5 c-sections)

Hmm not sure about totally turned, but it can certainly become tilted! Its only a problem when having smear tests - total pain to be honest!
