I want to know actually what happens or what external signs one can show (I mean to say any bleeding happens or what) after one takes a contraceptive pill

Yes, sometimes there can be a bit of spotting (which is light bleeding) that occurs because the body is trying to adjust to being on the medication. Another common sign can be that of weight gain which is mostly water and caused by the hormones in the medication. That weight gain is about 5-10 lbs. Some can also have very tender breasts and some have noticed that their breasts get larger because of the hormones in the medication.
