I live in Scotland with my dad and want to move to England to live with my mum. She said that I can't live with her because she has to work and she is to busy. Can she do this ? Or does the child have the right to decide where he wants to live ?

Yes, she can do this. I think you should just stay where you are. To be quite honest, it doesn't sound like your mom has time for you. Working is an excuse. Maybe she doesn't want to be a full time mother. Sorry. Be grateful to you dad.

How old are you?

It is obvious that your parents have decided that it is better for you to live with your father! Your mother is not willing to try to change that, nor is she willing to have you live with her, so you are stuck where you are! Parents, not children are the ones that make that decision!

When you are old enough to support yourself, you can decide where you want to live.

Sorry!
